Throughout my career I have worked as software developer, technical project manager, development manager and senior project manager. Those experiences have given me a broad understanding of how technology, people and business objectives must work together to create lasting results.
I enjoy working in environments where technology is an important part of the business strategy and where collaboration, trust and clear communication are just as important as technical expertise.
My Background
I began my career as a software developer in the late 1990s. Over the years my responsibilities gradually expanded from writing software to leading projects, managing development teams and coordinating software delivery across multiple organisations.
This progression has given me the ability to understand both the technical details and the broader business perspective. I can communicate comfortably with software developers, architects, project managers and executive leadership while maintaining focus on the objectives that matter most.
My experience spans software development, enterprise integration, project management, people leadership, stakeholder management and digital transformation.
Today I provide these services through Ellipse Consulting, where I help organisations combine technology leadership, software delivery and practical AI adoption to create lasting business value.

Outside of Work
Outside my professional life I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cycling, swimming, archery and working on renovation projects around my home.
I also enjoy learning about new technologies, experimenting with AI tools and exploring ways to combine technology with practical everyday applications.
Curiosity has been a constant throughout both my personal and professional life, and I believe it is one of the most valuable qualities in an industry that never stands still.
